What time will exams be finished on July 5?
You will be finished playing in the diagnostic band by 5:00 P.M. If you are flying, DO NOT schedule a flight until at least 7:00 P.M. on July 5. (All masters candidates are required to play in one of the diagnostic bands.)
Non-masters candidates are not required to stay to participate in the diagnostic bands though many do remain and find this unique rehearsal situation very informative. Each of the diagnostic bands plays for 12 to 15 graduating master's candidates. The band has a "play list" of items to perform incorrectly until the candidate conducting fixes the error.
NOTE: If you have signed up for the lodging package, July 5 is automatically included as a motel night. There is no refund for release of the room, so you may wish to plan your return flight for July 6.
