WIBC Frequently Asked Questions

Whom do I contact if I am interested in financial aid?

Complete an Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) online form.

Most financial aid is given as loans via FAFSA and Central Washington University.

The ABC attendee must be a full-time masters candidate who has been fully admitted, by May 1, to Central Washington University Graduate School in order to qualify for financial aid.

When qualified, the loan dollars will be deposited into your MyCWU online account. Any extra money will be electronically transferred to your personal bank account if you set up this feature.

Important Financial Aid Dates:

  1. Before May 1 - All NEW ABC attendees must have mailed all transcripts, forms and fees to CWU. Take ABC Theory Entrance exam on June 19.
  2. Before May 1 - All RETURNING, previously admitted candidates must complete financial aid paper work and be registered at CWU.
  3. June 10 - Financial aid money will be dispersed.
  4. June 11/12/13 - Refunds will be electronically transferred to your personal bank account or a check will be sent to your home address. (Set this up at the time your request financial aid.)
  5. June 14 - Pay ABC fees.
