ABC Academic Excellence Scholarships Fund

Funded completely on an annual basis by a recent graduate of the American Band College, the pair of Academic Excellence Scholarships have progressed to a fully-endowed amount that generates $800 annually for the two $400 awards.

The short-term goal of this fund is to increase the investment base to $40,000 so that these scholarships will provide two $1000 awards for the top candidates in the ABC program.

Each award is presented in January to the honored student by a high-level administrator as part of a public occasion at the candidate's school.

These scholarships honor faculty member, Bruce Dinkins, who passed away during ABC 2011.
