Updated September 12, 2021

We continue to monitor the COVID-19 pandemic and its impact on WIBC this November. Our top priority is the health and well-being of employees, clinicians, and our WIBC participants. At this time, we are hopeful that we can present WIBC in person at the Doubletree Hotel in Seattle, Washington. Continue to visit our website for convention updates.

Vaccinations Required

WIBC students, band directors, guest conductors, and staff are required to be fully vaccinated against COVID-19 prior to the first day of WIBC. This public health measure at WIBC is a critical step in reducing the potential for serious illness.

What You Need to Know
  • WIBC requires students, band directors, guest conductors, and staff to be fully vaccinated against COVID-19 prior to the start of the convention. Your completed vaccination card must be uploaded (to your WIBC account) by Monday, Nov. 8.
Students, directors, guest conductors, and staff may seek an exemption to the vaccination requirement for medical, religious, philosophical, or other non-medical reasons.
  • Unvaccinated WIBC students, directors, guest conductors, and staff, including those who are partially vaccinated or choose an exemption, are required to present proof of a negative result COVID-19 test (administered and processed) on Thursday, Nov. 18. (Earlier test results will not be accepted)
  • We will provide a way for you to upload your vaccination card (or COVID-19 test result) to your WIBC account. Details to follow.
