AUDITION MUSIC FOR 2008

WIBC and Smartmusic are once again teaming up to bring you an exciting audition method!

New! Each student must record two different solos and then combine them using SmartMusic. Only one complete MP3 recording, with both auditions, can be uploaded.

ALL INSTRUMENTS: It is okay to use All-Northwest or All-State Music instead of the WIBC audition music via SmartMusic. However, all auditions must be combined into one MP3 audition and uploaded to www.bandworld.org by October 1, 2008.

WIBC Audition Timeline

  • NOW: Audition music available for DOWNLOAD (see download files below).
  • NOW: FREE demo version of SmartMusic software available for DOWNLOAD. (You must have version 9.1 or higher for the files to work with SmartMusic.)
  • NOW: Contact us via EMAIL for FREE code to unlock full version of the software for 2 months. If your free trial expires, we will supply another code until the Oct. 1, 2008 audition deadline.
  • NOW - October 1 : Record WIBC auditions with music via SmartMusic software.
  • October 1, 2007 (Wednesday): Last day to upload WIBC audition.

• Two solos MUST be recorded

• You can continue to use the 9.1 version if you prefer.
