What is the Young Teacher Track?
Starting in 2023, we are offering a new WIBC track for band directors called the Young Teacher Track. This new WIBC track is designed for teachers that are just getting started with their careers (1-5 years of teaching experience). Mr. Todd Zimbelman, Director of Bands from West Salem in Oregon and ABA Member, will be the YTT coordinator, presenting rehearsal technique clinics full of ideas for you to bring back to your band room.
- Focus on topics pertinent to teachers with five or less years of teaching.
- Earn clock hours as you attend clinics, sight-reading sessions, and concerts.
- This track is at no extra charge. Register as a director and attend.
