The 2008 Graduating Class commissioned Robert W. Smith to write a new march for the 4th of July Parade. For nineteen straight years, the ABC Directors’ Band played “On the Mall” at the Ashland Parade. As of the summer of 2008, ABC now has its very own march. Listen to “To the Max” above as Robert presents it to the 4th of July audience! “To the Max (On the Truck)” is dedicated to Max McKee and the American Band College.
