What should I use to record my audition?
Mac:
There are a couple of free recording programs that come installed on each Mac.
Look for GarageBand in the Applications folder on your hard drive.
Look for Quicktime in the Applications folder on your hard drive.
Macintosh and/or PC:
You can download a free recording program called Audacity.
You can also download free Quicktime for PC.
Save your auditions as MP3 sound files and upload during your honor band application process.
Smartphones or tablets:
There are many free "MP3 recorders" available for smartphones and tablets. Just search in the app store for "free MP3 recorder" and load the app on your phone/tablet.
